Ideal and fairly clean hotel, lovely views across the gardens. Knowledgeable staff from the charming receptionist. Beautiful location in' communal' areas. 10 minutes walk to Truro Cathedral.

We had a stocked executive king suite with a lovely view of the the garden. The breakfast at hotel was gorgeous and delicious, they served toast, cereal, yogurt, fresh bread, and pastries.

It made our trip to Truro an excellent experience. The place was comfortable and fabulous, we really enjoyed it. This hotel was set in a very central area adjacent to the gardens below a good location and the "library " and the restaurant and wine list. Furthermore, very close to the Centre.

The breakfast was lovely and fantastic with excellent local ingredients, there were outstanding toast, pastries, yogurt, fruit, and eggs. The hotel was in a very central setting enough to ensure everything was satisfactory.

We truly enjoyed sleeping 1 night in this hotel. The venue was fairly clean, pleasant, had exceptionally nice staff with so impolite and disinterested receptionists.

Clean place with accommodating and exceptionally nice staff members and garden views. Top-notch restaurant at the bar or the restaurant. Perfect service too. Not the cheapest one but great value for money.

View across the gardens was good, the room was tidy and adequate. And there were lovely beds. The breakfast was delicious and good, the check in was fine.

The units are luxury, elegant with garden view. The location is brilliant and pleasant, near to centre of Truro.

Unique atmosphere, very informative and reasonably good employees from the charming receptionist. Stocked and pleasantly decorated units with a big detached bathroom. Location - good, really close to the centre of Truro, which is also a lovely place to explore, a beautiful refurbished manor house, and areas mentioned above.

I had the pleasure of staying at The Alverton in Truro for a weekend getaway. The room in the courtyard was absolutely stunning, with a modern yet character-filled design that instantly made me fall in love with it. The check-in process was straightforward, thanks to the friendly and helpful reception staff. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean, ensuring a relaxing stay. The bar staff were lovely and provided excellent service. I was delighted with the varied menu for breakfast, offering cereal, fruits, juices, and delicious cooked breakfast options.

Despite some minor drawbacks, such as a disappointing dining experience with an overcooked chateaubriand and lack of response from the staff, my overall experience at The Alverton was fantastic. The quality of the room, furnishings, and the lovely staff made this a memorable stay.

The staff members here are very friendly and welcoming in all areas. The twin room has convenient amenities like an electric kettle, central heating, and an ironing set. There are plenty of delicious options for breakfast.
